What's new?

Games for sale
I currently have many original Nintendo games for sale. You can see a list of what I have here: NES games for sale. Please take a look, and if you see any games you are interested in buying you can e-mail me and let me know. My prices are very reasonable, and shipping is always quick and cheap. Thanks.

Site look and feel
I got rid of the frames, and am slowly updating the content of the page. Within the next week or two I plan to have a completely revamped site. First on the list is the cleaning up and adding to the Castlevania links page. I also will be removing the "NES ROM Hackers Ring" links, as it seems it is no more. I also want to add some new pictures from the game.

Music
Someone informed me of the origin of the unknown Castlevania midi at the bottom of the music page.

Menu bar
Well, I finally got around to changing the menu bar. I was never really happy with how it looked at the top of the page, so now I've moved it to the side. I think this looks much better, the black background offsets very well the grey background in the other window.

Music
Cleaned up the music page. Added comments, ratings, and file sizes for each song and its associated zip file.

Music
Added a page with Castlevania 2 music. Castlevania 2's music was, in my opinion, the best music of any Castlevania game made. Check it out and maybe you'll agree. I've also updated some of the other pages as well, nothing big though, just minor changes.

Downloads
Nesticle needs a file named dos4gw.exe to run properly in Windows 95. I have finally realized that it would be much easier for everyone if I simply included a download for it on my site. Sorry it took me so long to figure this out. Go to the downloads page to get the file.

Main Page
The server here on campus got hacked into, so I haven't been able to update for a while, but I finally updated the newbie links on the main page to the Classic Gaming Newbie Guide, which gives a good guide to those new to emulation.

NES Rom Hackers Ring
Added a page that will take you to a new Web Ring dedicated to other NES ROM hacks out there. Check it out.

Links
I wanted to have these links updated last week, but I got hit with a couple of tests. But I survived, so I did a little update. It's not much, but there are a couple new links to Castlevania pages.

Whole site
I went through each page on my site and cleaned up the HTML code a little. I've learned a little more since I've taken over the Enrollment Services web page here at the University of North Dakota. The new Castlevania Links will be up soon, so check back later.

Links
It's been a while, but I decided to check out my links page and see if there were any dead links. And yes, there were a couple. I updated one link, but had to delete a couple. Soon I will put new links on the page as well.

Downloads
It's been a while since I've updated this page, but this new version of Nesticle is definetly worth me getting off my butt and telling you about. It's kind of a mystery version, as the version number is x.xx. There is also not a lot known about what is new, but I can tell you from my experience that the sound is near perfect, if not perfect! So get it and check it out!

CastleVania Links Added a link to the BEST Symphony of the Night page that I have found so far.
4/2/98

CastleVania Links
Added a link to the CastleVania Anthology petition. If you don't know what it is, go there and find out . . . you will go if you are a true CastleVania fan :-)

CastleVania Links
Finally got around to putting up some links! On the CastleVania Links page, you will find some of the better CastleVania sites I know of. They are broken up into groups of general and individual games. If you have a site that you think should be on the page, let me know.

Just a short note to let everyone know that an update to this site won't happen for a couple days yet. I have two computer programs to write for classes and a quiz in International Politics. When I DO update, I plan on making a couple more pages including a page for links as well as a page that focuses on Simon Belmont and the changes he has gone through in my hack and other games. It should be interesting, so check back in a couple days.

Also, I rented Castlevania: Symphony of the Night a little while ago and I loved it. If anyone has a link or two to pages that cover this game, please send them to me as I plan to put them in my links page when I make it. Also, if there is anyone out there who would be willing to sell a copy of the game to me, let me know. I know the chance of someone wanting to sell it is unlikely though, for if you are looking at this page it means you're a Castlevania fan, and if you are a Castlevania fan, you probably don't want to sell arguably one of the best Castlevania games ever; but hey, it's worth a shot! Until later, stay cool.

With Spring Break coming up, I would like to take this moment and invite anyone with a pulse to send a comment to my e-mail box. Please feel free to drop me a note, as I am very interested in what you have to say about either the game or my site. Since I don't have a guest book set up yet, this is the only way I can make contact with you. So please, if you enjoy what I've done, just drop me a short note and let me know. I really would appreciate it and I promise an honest and intelligent reply to all letters. Thank you very much and have a great Spring Break!

Enemies page
I have included information as to who the new enemies have replaced. This information is in blue and comes right after the description of the enemy. This information may or may not be interesting to you. If you think the writing should be in a different color, e-mail me.

Menu bar
As you can see, I replaced all those ugly links on top with an easy to use drop-down menu bar. I think you'll agree that it looks much more attractive. (If your browser doesn't support Java, go to the bottom of the main page. You'll find the links there also)
